It differs from the classic Indonesian kratom by growing trees in a dry environment with artificial irrigation, compared to the mangrove forests in Indonesia. The trees from Thailand are no more than 3 years old due to a past ban there, which also affects the alkaloid spectrum of the final product. This variety is popular among collectors for its specific collecting effects, which include a balanced mix of stimulation and relaxation, boosting energy and concentration.
